Have you ever felt that you’re drowning in your own sweat? You’re not alone as many people around the world suffer from an excessive sweating problem called hyperhidrosis. This kind of sweating can range from nervous sweating to random sweating episodes that can be highly uncomfortable.
You may be very familiar with the easiest available solution in the market — antiperspirants, which don’t quite work for you. Other solutions are taking oral anticholinergics to stop the sweat but some people get awful side-effects or are a bit too antsy to take oral medication.
In this Qbrexza review, you will learn more about what prescription antiperspirants are, what this product is all about, and why or why not you should try it out.

You’re not alone— there are also other people living with excessive sweating and they’ve done so successfully with the help of tips and products like these. That’s why my co-writer Oscar and I write about these things. Read Oscar’s story and learn how he successfully managed hyperhidrosis here.
What Is Qbrexza?
It might seem like a tongue-twister (it sort of was at first) but it’s quite easy to say. Pronounced as “kew brex zah” this antiperspirant wipes are a game-changer, totally changing the lives of people who excessively sweat forever.
So what is this product? Watch the video below, which talks Qbrexza, what it is, how it works and how to use it.
After watching this video, I’m sure many of your questions were answered. but I’d still like to share more things about Qbrexza as you may either not have had time to watch the whole video, or you may just prefer reading things about any product you’d want to try out, like me.
Qbrexza is not your ordinary antiperspirant wipes. Unlike other sweat- stopping wipes, this product does not have aluminum chloride as its main ingredient, instead, it is an anticholinergic, a drug that is usually found in oral medications for bladder disorders.
Anticholinergics have recently been found helpful in treating people with hyperhidrosis because it blocks the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, one that is responsible for muscle movement and sweating.
Qbrexza is amazing because people suffering from excessive sweating have been used to taking anticholinergics orally, which produced a lot of side-effects that made it hard for them to even continue the doses.
This brand has shown fewer symptoms than oral medication and people have reported that using Qbrexza has improved their overall (sweaty) condition in just a week of using the wipes.
How To Use Qbrexza
Please take note that these wipes are NOT your ordinary antiperspirant wipes and that using it more than the suggested “dose” can cause uncomfortable side effects.
1. See a Dermatologist
Qbrexza is not your ordinary antiperspirant wipes, aside from being aluminum-free, it is an FDA approved medicated wipes that have neurotransmitter (acetylcholine) blocker to help your sweating problem.
Therefore, you can’t just go to the store to buy it. Aside from having some side-effects, usage should be regulated and should only be upon the advice of your dermatologist.
You should also check if you have conditions that can prevent you from using anticholinergics like glaucoma, Alzheimer’s, urinary tract blockage and other possible conditions. That’s why seeing a doctor is a must.
2. Make Sure Underarms are Clean and Dry
Make sure that you apply this medication after taking a bath because you would want to avoid any reaction to the active ingredients in Qbrexza. Also, make sure to dry your armpits well before applying the wipes as water or sweat may lessen the effectivity.
3. Apply as Instructed
Tear the packet, remove the individually packed wipe, and apply only once on each armpit. One packet is intended for both underarms so don’t worry, it will be enough for both applications. Please don’t overapply (make sure you only do one big swipe!) as it might cause some side effects.
4. Air Dry
Avoid covering the area and just air dry until your underarms are fully dry. Since it is strictly one application every 24 hours, you don’t want to waste the product by accidentally wiping it away when wearing your shirt.
Some Thing To Take Note Of
It might not be as important but I’d like to include this as I like covering all my bases when it comes to new products. So please take note of some things you should check when using Qbrexza.
1. Trash Bins
If you are an animal lover and have pets in the house, make sure the bin you throw your Qbrexza is not within reach as it can be harmful to them. The same goes for kids. Please make sure that your trash bin is away from the curious hands of your child as they might get side-effects and might need a trip to the doctor.
2. Wash Your Hands
After wiping Qbrexza on each armpit, make sure you immediately wash and scrub your hands well as you wouldn’t want to accidentally wipe your eyes and get some of the product on them, which can cause blurred vision, among other things.
3. Possible Side-Effects
To start off, Qbrexza has been tested for people even as young as 9 years old and has been FDA approved. But like all medicated stuff, it has some side-effects. Glycopyrronium, the active ingredient in this product was previously used in oral medications but luckily, science found a way to make it available topically.
Some of the symptoms of the active ingredient include the following:
- Dry mouth
- Blurred vision
- Urinary retention
- Headache
- Sore throat
- Burning and itchy skin
- Dry skin, mouth, and eyes

What I Like About Qbrexza
1. Does Not Take Much Space
Qbrexza is individually packed into slim packets so bringing these while traveling isn’t that hard at all. You don’t have to worry about spillage and leaking as the packets are really durable and you would need scissors to open it, or you’d have to tear it open yourself.
2. It Works
It took a while to release these wipes because they had to get their FDA approval first. Getting this certification means that effectivity is also tested, and that the product is generally safe for use. Their official website even says that it can be effective for kids as young as 9 years old.
3. Safe For Pregnant Women
Although there are some really bad side-effects, Qbrexza has shown no sign of harming the baby and the mother during pregnancy. This means it is totally ok to use this product if you’re pregnant. However, please still inform the doctor/dermatologist as he/she still has the last say on whether this product is safe enough for you.
What I Don’t Like About Qbrexza
1. Has Too Many Side-Effects
I included most of the side-effects above and it can be pretty scary to use. I’d rather use clinical strength antiperspirant roll-ons or wipes instead of being scared all the time of getting dry mouth or having a hard time peeing (yikes).
2. Needs To Be Applied Daily
Unlike other antiperspirant wipes, Qbrexza still has to be applied every 24 hours. For me, this defeats the purpose of being convenient as some other brands don’t have to be reapplied until after a week. There are other alternatives I’d rather use if I still have to bother putting this on daily.
3. Can Be Dangerous
Qbrexza can be dangerous if you have pets or if you have curious kids around the house. You can’t be 100% sure that they won’t get to your wipes or that they would accidentally ingest some of the anticholinergics which could harm your pet and even cause an unexpected hospital trip for your kid.
Conclusion
You may or may not want to try Qbrexza, and I’d understand if you’d want to take a bit of a risk by testing it out because your roll-ons never quite work for you. Just make sure to take note of all the information I shared above.
I cannot really recommend these wipes due to all the cons that this product has. You have to weigh it out yourself.
Many people have had the best reviews on these wipes so I honestly think it’s really how you use and dispose of it after that can help lessen the possible side-effects.
I know you’ve learned a lot about anticholinergics and how this new product, Qbrexza can be your lifesaver for the very sweaty situations that you want to avoid.

Until the next review!
What an amazing review! I really like your review.
Rightly said, there are indeed some people who experience hyperhidrosis in their bodies. So they need Qbrexza to overcome them. However, there are also some people who really hate sweating, because according to them sweating can cause body smell not good and also make the body feel dirty again (myself for example). Therefore, I think Qbrexza is actually fine.
However, because Qbrexza is an anticholinergic one, is it safe to use it everday?
Hi Kylie,
thank you for commenting on this Qbrexza review. I’m also a heavy sweater and always on the look for new solutions. However, Qbrexza is definitely not something I would try out first. I am not 100% about the safety of this product, although the company claims that it is safe.
I have studied so much about aluminum chloride, and it has convinced me to be a greater option, which is why I do recommend Sweatblock over Qbrexza.
Hope this helps,
Oscar
Thank you for your post. It is useful information for me. I don’t know why my hands are always sweating and need many handkerchiefs to keep my hands dry. I try many ways to treat my conditions, but have not found effective path to prevent my hands from sweating.
Here comes your article. I particularly like the scientific foundation for the treatment, it blocks the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, that is responsible for sweating. I am definitely going to try Qbrexza.
It is kind of you sharing this useful information with us, which has the potential to cure my conditions forever.
Hi Anthony,
I am glad you found this article helpful. Please come back to tell me about your experience with Qbrezxa.
