Nasanta Magnesium Deodorant Review: Your Number 1 Natural Solution

The world is slowly becoming aware of the damage we’re inflicting on the planet with the waste we’re producing from the products we use. So most people nowadays try to use eco-friendly or even vegan products with fewer chemicals.

Sadly these eco-friendly products are not always safe, and essential oils can cause skin problems like contact dermatitis and rashes. This goes for a lot of products including deodorant. The most natural and chemical-free deodorants contain fragrance or essential oils, both of which can cause serious skin allergies.

Essential oils are all-natural, but it doesn’t mean that they’re safe to use on sensitive skin.

Essential oils or fragrances aren’t always safe for your skin

Woah there. I bet you were kinda bothered with what I mentioned above so I decided to explain further. Nowadays with all these companies marketing natural remedies for different ailments like putting a drop here, or putting a drop there. Mixing these oils and voila, you now feel better.

I bet you’ve encountered these people who always use essential oils to treat everything from a headache down to their skin conditions. They always say the same thing — that because it is all-natural, it’s completely safe to use.

I hate to break it to you, but as I always say, these essential oils or even fragrance they put into the products we use are not always safe for us, health-wise.

A lot of people (including me) did not really know this, not because I was using essential oils, but because I’ve always thought that natural products can’t be that toxic right? But I’ve read several articles with people saying that they experience burning or even rashes.

The doctors initially couldn’t find anything that could’ve caused these rashes, until they found out that their patient would use different essential oils throughout the day. They did more tests and discovered that those oils were indeed the culprit.

Now let’s talk about deodorants. As I’ve mentioned, there are better alternatives to chemical-filled deodorants and most of them are made with eco-friendly ingredients, some of which are essential oils to make the product (and your underarms) smell really good.

One of the most common complaints I see and hear from consumers is that they have redness, bumps, or even peeling after using different natural deodorants. Most of them blame baking soda (as it can cause redness and discomfort as well), but what I realized is that all those products also had one thing in common — essential oils.

So I often tell people to be careful when selecting their products. Make sure that they aren’t sensitive to fragrances or essential oils when they decide to use their soaps or deodorants because they might end up in the hospital.

I’m not scaring you, or anything. I just want to make sure you are informed and warned about the possible side-effects these oils can do to your body/skin that some companies don’t fully disclose to their consumers.

Underarm detox and why it is necessary

Now that you know more about essential oils and the fact that anything in excess can be bad, I’d like to share my knowledge on underarm detox. What is it? Do I have to make juices and stuff? Is it expensive? These must be the questions you’re asking right now.

Let me answer all of them before I discuss everything I know about underarm detox. First, it is not at all expensive. No, you won’t have to make juices and buy a new blender or spend tons of money. Everything is affordable and you might have most of the ingredients at home.

Yes, I’m not kidding. Underarm detox is a simple procedure that you have to do for 5 days to 4 weeks. You need three ingredients — calcium bentonite clay, water, and apple cider vinegar.

After you have all three ingredients, you can now start the detox process. First, mix a tablespoon of calcium bentonite, one and a half teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and water in a plastic or glass bowl. Please don’t use any metal!

Make sure the paste has a yogurt-like consistency, if it is a bit runny, you may add a little bit more clay to thicken the mixture. Now you are all set and you can now apply it on your underarms.

Start with leaving it on for 5 minutes, gradually increasing the time per week until your skin is used to the mixture. By the time you’re on your last week, you can already leave it on for 20 minutes. I always suggest to leave it for a shorter period at first because some people have really sensitive skin.

After your four-week detox, you’ll notice that you smell bad less (or you don’t smell bad at all!), you don’t have to reapply the deodorant several times a day, and you don’t have to use a lot of deodorant per application.

Patience is the key when it comes to doing this detox and I believe that it does work wonders for the underarms and it can really help you “reset” your pores and unclog them from the years of using products that stopped them from getting all that sweat out.

What I like about Nasanta

Nasanta is a new all-natural brand from Australia. I really tried looking for brand history but I couldn’t find many details on their website. What I did find though, were many rave reviews and happy customers.

I made sure to add all these good comments so you’ll know what’s in it for you when you buy your first bottle of Nasanta. You are sure to get a really good and clinically-tested deodorant that will protect you for hours. See more below on why you should get Nasanta.

1. Baking soda and fragrance-free

Since most of the common causes of redness and peeling are baking soda and essential oils, Nasanta decided to do away with it and still make an excellent deodorant that has no parabens, no baking soda, no sulfates, and is completely fragrance-free. You also have a bonus — they have magnesium as one of their ingredients which acts as the neutralizer instead of baking soda.

Aside from being free from baking soda, Nasant Magnesium Deodorant only has 8 ingredients: water, magnesium hydroxide, glycerin, xanthan gum, menthol, 0.293% w/w phenoxyethanol and 0.007% w/w methylisothiazolinone for preservatives. All of these are completely safe and mild to the skin.

2. Honest Claims

Most natural deodorants have insane claims. You may agree with me on this one. They usually say “two days” or “72-hour protection” only to find out that they stink minutes later. Nasanta is different. They’re honest about how long their product can protect you.

No frills, just the truth. This is why I love this deodorant. You get 12-hour protection, this means that you may have to reapply the product twice a day if you’re ever out for 24 hours. I get the logic though, I’m usually out not longer than 12 hours so this deodorant is good for me. For others, you may have to bring your roll-on with you.

3. No stains

Since it has no baking soda, you’re definitely not going to have tough yellow stains to remove. A lot of people have raved about this brand because their shirts last longer because there’s no need to throw them out. If there’s any staining, it’s usually powder-like dirt that you can brush away, according to Nasanta’s website. I’d definitely go for a brand that won’t ruin my shirts.

What I don’t like about Nasanta

1. Can cause diarrhea

This is not very common but I decided to include this here just in case. Some people reported that they get diarrhea when using Nasanta. They associated it with the Magnesium in the deodorant. Normally milk of magnesia is used as a laxative so it’s not surprising if some people who are sensitive to Magnesium can react to this product.

2. Expensive

Nasanta comes with a really high price tag compared to other brands so I myself won’t really buy this much but I can recommend it to people who are looking for something made for sensitive skin. If you’re a person who doesn’t really smell bad and doesn’t need reapplications, then a bottle of Nasanta will last a long time. I can guarantee though, the price is worth the product you’re getting.

3. Does not work

Sadly some customers aren’t happy with Nasanta because they have reported their product doesn’t work. They said they applied it after a shower and it didn’t protect them for 12 hours, they started smelling just a few hours of using this brand.

I always ask though, have these people gone through an underarm detox? If not, then I ask them to simply follow the detox process and be very patient about it because the results are always amazing. Before giving up on your natural deodorant, make sure you’ve done your detox (properly) and followed all the application instructions on the bottle. Only then should you look for another deodorant.

Conclusion

Who says baking soda-free and fragrance-free can’t work in one product? Well, Nasanta has beaten a lot of other brands in the market and produced this gem of a deodorant that has changed a lot of people’s lives (and smell) forever. I’d definitely recommend Nasanta to anyone looking for a no-frills deodorant that works.

Ready to Make a Change Now?

My name is Oscar and I am the founder and director of Stop-Sweating-Now.com and have been researching and writing about hyperhidrosis for many yearOscars.

I have been sweating excessively for the better part of my life.  I looked for solutions for well over a decade, but I never found anything that lasted.

It all started when I was around 14 years of age, when I suddenly found out that I was sweating more in my armpits than I should.  At first I thought it was something that would go away soon, but I was wrong.

I had given up hope and accepted to live the rest of my life being embarrassed with ugly sweat stains in my armpits.

However, after a few years of not searching for any solutions anymore, I gave it another shot.  And I found what finally gave me the freedom I had longed for so many years.

After finding a solution to my problem, I decided it was important to shout out my message to those that are suffering from what I had lived with so many years.

My goal is to help people find their freedom from sweating by sharing my expertise because hyperhidrosis is an underdiagnosed condition.

People don’t know that it is a medical term and can be treated effectively.

That is why I am here: Sharing with you what I know, what works and what does not work.
